6 months (August 8)

WOW! I can't believe Makenna is 6 months old already! This past month has been so much fun! Here is what she has been up to:

-Weighs 16lbs 5 oz (50th) and is 26 in. long (50th)
(Appt at 6.5 months)

-Wears mostly 3 month clothes and a few 3-6 months

-Wears Size 2 diapers

-Has 6 oz. every 4 hours and rice/oatmeal cereal at night

-We started solids a couple weeks ago and she just LOVES them!

-Sleeps 10 hours at night and still takes 2 really naps!

-She started sitting up at about 5 1/2 months and has done so good with it!

-She jabbers like crazy and gets quite loud sometimes!

-She loves when we clap and play patty cake with her!

-She loves to give smiles and is happy all the time!

-She grabs everything in site!

-She has become very wiggly and does not lay still when we change her diaper!

-Visited her friend Harlyn in Jackson! They had so much fun together!

-Loves to watch her cousins!

-Took her 1st bath in the inflatable duck tub!



Watch Me Grow (6 months)

5 Months (July 8)

Here is what Makenna is up to:

-wears size 1 diapers

-wears mostly 3 month clothes with some 3-6 month, she even fits into a few 0-3 month things and pajamas are 6 months

-weighs 14lbs 9 oz.

-has 6 oz. every 4 hours and rice/oatmeal cereal at night with a 4 oz. bottle

-sleeps 12 hours at night and still takes awesome naps.

-rolling over constantly

-loves to play with toys and be in her excersaucer and bumbo

-always puts everything in her mouth

-starts to rub her eyes and ears when she is tired

-her hair is growing like crazy!

-giggled for the first time

Fourth of July Cuteness

Our 4th of July weekend started out with Kyle and I going out for dinner at Mongolian BBQ in Grand Rapids for my 24th birthday! We did a little shopping at BuyBuy Baby and Marshalls and then stopped at Cold Stone for some ice cream! Then on Saturday morning we packed up to head to the cottage for the weekend while Makenna took a morning nap. Wow, 5 month olds need a lot of stuff! We spent the day in the sun and at night Kyle and my brother-in-law Robb headed  to Berlin with some friends from church! It was perfect weather! 

We made our own pizzas on the grill on Sunday night and my mom's sisters and their husbands came for a pontoon boat ride! Monday morning we went out for breakfast at Blue Goose, spent the day outside and around 4:00 we headed home and had steaks on the grill and layed low after a busy weekend!

Thankfully, the kids slept great!

 It was such a great weekend!

Watch Me Grow (5 months)

4 Months (June 8)

At 4 months Makenna:

-weighs 13lbs 12 oz (50%) (at 4.5 months when she had her doc. appt)

-is 25 inches long(75%)

-is wearing mostly 3 month clothes, but some 3-6 mo. clothes and

6 mo. pajamas because she is too long for 3 mo. pjs.

-wears size 1 diapers

-found her feet

-loves to hold toys and play with her paci(she likes to pull it out and put it back in)

-has 6 oz. every 4 hours and started rice cereal at night and loves it!

-sleeps from 9-7 but usually still needs the paci around 4.

-rolls over from front to back

-loves to smile

-she just recently became a snuggle bug,

 she used to want to lay on the ground by yourself. She would cry if she was held

-she has started to cry when she sees us walk away.

Officially Introducing our Newest Nephew Sadler Graham

Sadler was born on April 19 and today he officially became a part of Robb and Katie's family!!!

He is so precious and has the cutest smile and beautiful brown eyes!(Boys eyes can be beautiful, right?)

Welcome to our family Sadler, you are such a blessing!

Can't wait to spoil you! We love you!
