Makenna 12-16 months

Makenna turns 16 months old tomorrow! So before I forget all the important details I figured I should write them all down! So don't mind all the randomness!

12 month appt stats- 20 lbs 11 oz. -29 1/2 in. Both were 50% I think!
15 month appt stats- 24 lbs 5 oz. -31 in. Both were a little above 75%

Makenna started walking a few days before she was 14 months old! She just started taking off one day, none of that 2-3 step walking, it was a good 10-15 steps at a time! She just loves walking and thinks she is pretty cool stuff! This was the first day walking, we were a bit excited and so glad we got it on video!

She now has 6 teeth and she is teething right now and always has her hands in her mouth!

She signs "more and please", waves bye-bye and hi, plays patty cake and peek a boo, is starting to point to her nose, belly and mouth!

Words she says: da-da, mom, uh-oh, oh wow, yum and yay!

she jabbers constantly and expects you to understand her!

Loves to look at books, watch Boz the Bear and play outside!

-still sleeps great at night and takes 2 naps most days!

27 weeks-due August 16

Christmas

We had a busy holiday season with 4 parties. We started with my immediate family party on the 17th. We met at Kobe Grill in Grandville..yum!!! Then we head to Robb and Katie's house for some games and to open presents!! Makenna got some great gifts! We got a Keurig maker and luggage from my parents!

We had Kyle's immediate family on the 23rd! Makenna got some toys, books, puzzles and clothes!

We had our family party on Christmas Eve. We ate at Qdoba and then came home and Makenna opened 3 presents from us! We had so much fun with her for her 1st Christmas and we are looking forward to many many more!!

10 & 11 months

-wears mainly 6-9 months and a few 6-12 month clothes.

-wears size 3 diapers and size 4 at night

-still has 6 oz. every 4 hours

- started crawling everywhere

-got 3 teeth in 2 weeks when she was 11 months

-loves playing in the snow

-still sleeps so good!

-says da-da and uh-oh

-loves watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Boz the Green Bear dvds

-we also moved to a new house and she did great with the transition!

9 month pictures

I asked a good friend Misty to take some 9 month pictures and a few family pictures for us this fall! She did an amazing job!! I can't wait to use her again!!



Catch up (8 & 9 Months)

 At Makenna's 9 month appt she weighed 19lb 13 oz (75th percentile) 

Length-27.5 inches (50th percentile)

-wears size 2 diapers

-she wears mostly 6-9 month clothes with a few 6-12 month things

-she flew for the first time to Florida in October

-still has 4- 6oz. bottles and fruits, vegetables and oatmeal. She loves to have puffs!

-she has been doing a lot of army crawling and pulls herself up on furniture especially in her crib when she is supposed to be sleeping!

-she isn't a big fan of her exersaucer anymore unless she has puffs!

-has the sweetest smile and giggle

-no teeth yet

-sleeps about 12-13 hours at night and still takes 2 naps a day.

-isn't a big fan of nursery

-absolutely loves her baths

-claps and waves bye-bye

-still only like to say da-da. we try everyday for a ma-ma!

-loves wathcing Little Einsteins and SuperWhy.
